Flutter

This is an installation inspired by my love of science fiction literature. It is a a garden of reflective butterfly gadgets that flutter around and around. I imagine it being built by a robot that roams the earth after mankind has perished. They built this installation in memory of their maker who told them about the beauty of moths flying in the night.

So they are a memory of a memory.

This work has been presented in Gallery 54 in 2021 as part of a show called Crises Mode.
